The Spurwing, with its unique ‘gullwing’ side door design, provides effortless access to all outside storage, the kitchen unit and the shower cubicle. The gullwing doors, once opened serves as robust weather proof awnings on both sides of the trailer.

The camper body consists of a composite design incorporating aluminium structural elements and epoxy resin infused foam board. This epoxy-bonded closed cell composite structure is extremely strong and light. The epoxy infused foam board is utilised in marine applications, mainly due to its corrosive resistance, structural rigidity and strength, light weight and its insulation properties.

The Spurwing’s kitchen, a first to the industry, is an electrically operated ‘drop-down’ unit and is accessible from the interior and exterior of the camper. This unit incorporates a stainless steel washbasin with hot and cold water, a dual burner gas stove, space for a 90 litre fridge/freezer and general storage compartments. The unit in its closed position is accessible from the inside of the camper.

The camper layout design emulates a luxurious spacious internal living area. Once open, the electrical operated pop-up roof provide for an internal head-clearance of 1.8 meter. The incorporated touch sensitive LED lights create a pleasant ambiance and provide sufficient light to every part of the cabin. Electrical outlets (220V and 12V) as well as three USB charging points are strategically placed throughout the unit.

The gas installation is designed to ensure safety and compliance. The placement of appliances, materials used and the ventilation requirements meets local standards.
